Rivers and Area Community Foundation was formed in 2008 as a direct result of a large bequeath from Bernard Goekoop, who farmed near Rivers his entire life. The Foundation exists to provide and advance the quality of life in the community by developing permanent endowment funds and making responsible grants for the good of our community.
